Welcome to the Washington DC Meher Baba Gathering. The Washington Meher Baba Gathering has bi-weekly meetings in the homes of individuals. Activities of the group include readings, spiritual discussions, prayers, and devotional music. The group hosts special guests who have met and worked with Meher Baba. Special guests visit the Washington DC center from India, Australia, Europe and other parts of the world. Visitors share their first hand experiences and rare stories about their coming in contact with the Avatar. Some of the prominent visitors include the Avatar’s close associates and family members.

Avatar Meher Baba visited Washington DC on July 30, 1956 for the first time. This auspicious day coincides with the release of the message “In God We Trust” signed into law by U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower.

The Washington DC group celebrated 50 years of Baba’s visit to the USA. Many of Meher Baba's close associates (Mandali) have come to visit the Washington group over the years. Please come and join us for our fun filled events.
